This week, during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Bukhara region, the activities of a number of enterprises of the «Bukhoro Agroсluster» LLC system were carefully studied. Among these subjects of production, a special role and position is occupied by LLC "Bukhoro Agroсluster Chorva" in the Karaulbazar district. The development of cattle breeding, breeding of productive breeds of cattle in animal husbandry, milk processing, providing the table of our people with high-quality meat and dairy products, the main thing that this multi-profile enterprise serves is of great interest. In this regard, based on the recommendations of the head of our state, on August 12-13, 2023, an indicative scientific and practical seminar on the topic "Implementation of innovative projects in agriculture and creation of new jobs" was organized in our region.
The Chairman of the Zhukurg Kengesi of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the regional khokims, their deputies for agriculture and water management and investments, industrial and trade issues, heads of all cotton and textile clusters are directly involved in this seminar.
As a result of the reforms carried out in all directions, on the basis of investment projects of prospects for the development of breeding cattle breeding, animal husbandry is also developing in the Karaulbazar district of the Bukhara region. LLC «Bukhoro Agroсluster Chorva», which entered service in 2021, is equipped on the basis of modern requirements and is one of the largest complexes in our region.
This year, the implementation of the next investment projects in this livestock complex was launched. An agreement was reached with the German company "Zve Zuchtvieh-Export GmbH", which specializes in the export of German genetics in the field of cattle breeding, seeds and embryos, with more than 30 years of experience in this field. According to the results of negotiations at Halk Bank, the Bukhara regional branch purchased a total of 489 heads of cattle of Swedish, Simmental and red Danish breeds in the amount of 1.3 million US dollars at the expense of a foreign credit line. Currently, cattle of imported breed in the process of adaptation to the climatic and nutritional conditions of the region are bred in the livestock complex under the supervision of specialists, animal technicians with deep knowledge, experience and skills in this field.
It can be said that, despite the fact that LLC "Bukhoro Agroсluster Chorva" has been carrying out its livestock activities for only 3 years, today it is becoming an example for other livestock complexes of the republic. It is here that one can be convinced that the ability to introduce scientific developments and innovations is a determining factor in the future prospects of the livestock sector. Even a specific innovative method is the care of livestock through the use of music, strict compliance with hygienic requirements when feeding it, careful introduction into practice of special feeding rations.
Today, the livestock complex contains a total of 3000 heads of dairy and meat cattle. Of these, 1 thousand heads are dairy cows of Holstein, Simmental and Swedish breeds. For the purpose of large-scale organization of breeding and breeding work, cattle of Angus and Belgian breeds are also being imported here, for which experimental care is being carried out. From one head of a cash cow, an average of 28 liters is obtained, and a total of 28 tons of milk per day.
Also, an intensive hydroponic method of growing feed products has been introduced here, which allows obtaining from 1 kilogram of wheat to 7 kilograms of "green feed", and daily - up to 3 tons of 800 kilograms. In this case, wheat is grown in specially equipped rooms and treated for 7 days with water from pipes, and the finished product is given to cattle on the basis of these norms. This project worth 672 million soums is equipped with technology developed by the «Аgrikom» campaign. The advantage of this project is that it will be able to fully cover the need of livestock in meal and will serve to reduce costs by 3 times.
In addition, in order to strengthen the feed base of animal husbandry, 400 hectares of fodder arable land have been allocated to the livestock complex, and feed is currently being reserved by planting alfalfa, corn for grain and silage, intermediate crops of rye with triticale.
At the scientific and practical demonstration seminar held at «Bukhoro Agro сluster Chorva» LLC, opinions, recommendations and proposals on the development of the livestock complex of Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Ganiev, Minister of Agriculture Aziz Voitov, Chairman of the Kenges Jocarga of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbai Orinbayev, Khokim of the Bukhara region Botir Zaripov and others were studied. It was with a thorough study of the activities of this multidisciplinary limited liability company in Karaulbazar for milk processing, production and storage of feed, the activities of supply complexes, the material benefits of a total of more than 150 people in them, the conditions created by them, that the necessary recommendations were developed.
