In pursuance of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.-500 "On measures to create a modern agricultural cluster in the Bukhara region" dated June 14, 2019, Bukhoro Agrocluster LLC completed an investment project to create a textile complex for the production of garments in the Shafirkan district. The construction of this enterprise was carried out in partnership with the company "ASTAS JUKI" from the Republic of Turkey and a number of other foreign organizations.
To implement the project, Bukhara Azteks LLC attracted investments in the amount of 92 billion soums. A sewing enterprise with a total area of 12960 m2 was organized in a short time, and 3 months after the start of construction, it was put into operation. The technological production line is equipped with modern foreign equipment worth 3.2 million euros. In particular, 660 different sewing machines of the Juki brand were installed on 22 production lines.
By creating a textile complex, 1295 people were provided with new jobs, of which 755 seamstresses got the opportunity to apply their skills in modern mass production.The annual production capacity of the enterprise is 12.5 million pieces of garments. Subsequently, the annual capacity will be increased to 16 million units of finished products.
The export volume of the textile complex is about 80 percent of the total production, and the planned revenue from sales to foreign consumers is more than 264 billion soums per year.The textile complex has begun its work and is currently preparing the first batch of products for shipment to consumers.
