On August 19 of this year, a delegation led by the khokims of the Tashkent and Andijan regions arrived in Bukhara on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to exchange experience between the regions. During the visit, the guests visited the enterprise "Bukhoro Agroсluster Remote Sensing" and the soil analysis laboratory of LLC "Bukhara Agroсluster" and got acquainted with the working processes at these facilities.
Processing and packaging of milk has been established at the «Bukhara Agroсluster Remote Sensing» enterprise. For an investment of $ 6.2 million, a modern complex was built on an unattended territory, the equipment for which was brought from Italy and Russia. Opened in 2021 year, the company today processes 22 thousand tons of milk per year. There are more than forty types of products made from it, such as kefir, milk, cheese, yogurt, cream, sour cream. 150 people were employed.
The scale of work and the increase in income contributed to the expansion of the cluster's activities. New buildings were built on the territory of the complex. In particular, a modern laboratory has been launched in the enterprise's system, which determines the productivity of land plots. It is equipped with modern German technologies, has the ability to determine more than forty indicators of soil composition, about ten indicators of water content.
The salinity of the cultivated areas of the Bukhara region is high compared to other regions. Soil analysis is extremely necessary to achieve productivity. In this laboratory, the chemical composition of the soil is studied, with the help of which the need of plants for mineral and organic fertilizers is determined. The properties of the soil, the level of salinity are also carefully studied. Based on its results, measures are being taken to normalize the condition of the lands.
The information generated here is uploaded to another enterprise project – the Agro Smart Map Uz platform. Based on these data, landowners receive the necessary agrotechnological recommendations.
The participants also got acquainted with the conditions in the laboratory. They were told about the system of work of the enterprise and the laboratory, their advantages, as well as about the following projects of LLC «Bukhoro Agroсluster».
