The President got acquainted with the activities of the cluster in Bukhara

 

     President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of a number of enterprises belonging to the «Bukhoro Agroсluster».

     Thus, the enterprise “Bukhoro Agroсluster remote sensing” in the city of Bukhara has established the production of dairy products. The modern complex was built on an empty site with the involvement of 6.2 million dollars of investment, equipment from Italy and Russia was installed. The production facility, which opened in 2021, processes 22 thousand tons of milk per year. More than 40 types of kefir, pasteurized milk, cheese, yogurt, cream, sour cream and others are produced. 140 people are provided with work.

     The President inspected the technological process and products of the enterprise.

     The cluster's activities are expanding. New facilities have appeared on the territory of the complex. A modern laboratory for the study of soil fertility on the lands of the cluster, equipped with advanced German technologies, has been launched. It can analyze the composition of soil by more than forty indicators and water by about ten indicators.

     Compared with other regions, the Bukhara region has a higher level of salinity of cultivated lands. Therefore, it is very important to analyze the soil to increase fertility. The laboratory examines the chemical composition of the soil, determines the need of plants for minerals and organic fertilizers. The properties and salinity of the soil are studied. Based on the results, measures are being taken to normalize its composition.

     The collected data is uploaded to the «Agro Smart Map Uz» platform – another project of the enterprise. Farmers receive the necessary agrotechnological recommendations based on these data.

     The Head of State got acquainted with the capabilities of the laboratory. Information about the upcoming projects of the «Bukhoro Agroсluster» is presented.
