The Gijduvan creamery was put into operation.

 

     At the end of  November 2022, LLC “Gijduvan Agrocluster eg-moi” began its work on the production of oil and other fat-and-oil products. The construction of this plant was planned in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 14, 2019 No. 500 "On measures to create a modern agro-cluster in the Bukhara region". The enterprise was built at the own expense of LLC “Bukhoro Agrocluster” and loans of “Agrobank” in the amount of 10 billion soums.

     With the launch at full design capacity, 35 thousand tons of seeds will be processed annually at this enterprise, from which more than 11 thousand tons of high-quality oil, 29 thousand 110 tons of meal, 20 thousand 435 tons of husks and many other products for a total of 12.4 million US dollars will be produced.

     The company will employ 140 workers and specialists.

     The commissioning of this plant will reduce the share of imports in the region by 8,8 million US dollars, contributes to filling the market with high-quality, safe, cheap food, and will serve to ensure the country's food security.
