On March 18 of this year, a training seminar on the essence of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-144 "On measures to further improve the introduction of water-saving technologies in agriculture" dated March 1, 2022 and the tasks arising from it and other issues of water management was held at the Bukhara branch of the National Research University of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Mechanization Engineers of Agriculture.
The training seminar was attended by deputy district khokims on agricultural and water issues, heads of district departments related to agriculture, heads of cluster enterprises and farms implementing water-saving technologies this year, specialists of enterprises involved in the introduction of drip irrigation technology.
The seminar was conducted by the deputy khokim of the Bukhara vilayat A.Nazarov.
At the seminar, a presentation was presented by “Agro Tomchi” LLC on the technology of using drip irrigation during agricultural work.
A number of scientists of higher educational and scientific institutions, specialists of enterprises involved in the implementation of these technologies spoke on the introduction of drip and sprinkler irrigation in the conditions of agricultural production of the Bukhara vilayat.
The seminar participants analyzed the problems and disadvantages of using drip irrigation technology in the last season, exchanged views on the effective use of water-saving technologies in the production of agricultural work this year.
