On February 15 of this year, within the framework of the project "Sustainability and added value in agricultural supply chains" of the German Organization for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, GIZ), a training seminar was organized in Romitan district for agronomists, heads of territories, specialists of “BCT Agroсluster”, “Bukhoro Agroсluster”, “Haj textile cluster”.
The training included lectures on such topics as "Selection cotton of soil and climatic varieties in the context of global climate change", "Cotton of natural color", "Cotton varieties cultivated in our country and imported from abroad", "Watering cotton in conditions of water scarcity", "Use of water-saving technologies in irrigation cotton", "The use of rain irrigation technology in conditions of water scarcity". It was at these seminars on global climate change that cluster specialists received answers to their questions, as well as the composition of the topic and the training seminar for further seminars were discussed and proposals were put forward.
